NON-ORAL PIERCING
1. The piercing should be cleaned daily, twice a day (morning and evening).
2. Apply saline solution to the piercing, both front and back.
3. To reach hard-to-access areas more easily, use a cotton swab soaked in solution.
4. I recommend moving the piercing forward and backward/ up and down (as appropriate), each time it is cleaned.
5. Waterproof bandage for the first 2 weeks when bathing.
6. Using antibiotic and anti-inflammatory cream is suggested only if inflammation and redness persist beyond the first week.

1. Alcohol-free mouthwash (Listerine)
2. Saline solution/ NaCl 0.9% solution (250/500ml bottle or 5 ml vials) - if needed (labret)
Rinse with mouthwash in the morning and evening + after every meal or after smoking.

How do I know when my pircing is healed?
✓ In short, when it feels like it’s been there forever!
✓ The minimum healing period has passed (~months, depends on the piercing).
✓ The jewelry moves freely on its own, without effort through the newly formed hole.
✓ There are no more secretions that form crusts.
✓ The area is not red, swollen, or painful.
